After a great evening & nice dinner we woke up late and after breakfast went for a walk along the edge of the canyon. We walked for about 3 hours over the gravelly surface of the canyon top. Breathtaking views over the canyon. It was nice to stretch our legs for a change and after a super tasty lunch we lounged on the deck next to the pool. At around 4 pm we could hear Bush1 arriving and the pack was finally complete again. We went on a sundowner tour to the edge of the canyon with a bottle of champagne in the cooler box. There was also plenty of biltong and droƫ wors (an Afrikaanse specialty).
Tommorow's flight will be to the west coast of Namibia and then northbound towards the spectacular sand dunes. We will be staying at Sossusvlei lodge. They have their own gravel landing strip. So that should be fun again.

Waar zitten jullie over 5 dagen?
